I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I have been in the field for 10 years and I earned by bachelor’s in general psychology from Benedictine University and earned my master degree in ABA at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2013. My journey began when I worked as a Paraprofessional in a therapeutic day school/residential facility with children with autism and other intellectual disabilities. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings including private schools, clinics, in-home, and Adult Day programs for adults with duo diagnosis. I have also conducted a research study implementing the effects of Functional Communication Training with Adults with Development Disabilities. Some of my work experience has been writing programs including the implementation of functional communication, social skills, daily living skills, and the verbal behavior approach. Most have of my experience has been writing behavior reduction programs for severe challenging behaviors and providing training to parents and staff on following behavior protocols. My favorite part of my work is seeing my clients progress to their fullest potential, seeing my families happy and successful, and I always enjoy new challenges and networking with others.
